Goblet Squats with a Dumbbell: Strength and Mobility

Goblet squats are a beginner-friendly exercise that strengthens the legs, glutes, and core while promoting proper squat mechanics. Holding a dumbbell in a goblet position (close to your chest) encourages an upright posture and better balance.

To perform the exercise, stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and hold a dumbbell with both hands at chest level. Lower your body into a squat, keeping your chest lifted and your knees aligned with your toes. Push through your heels to return to the starting position.

Goblet squats improve lower body strength, hip mobility, and core stability. They are an excellent addition to any strength training routine.
